Greedout

See how full every coding session is, at a glance.

A dashboard of your most recent AI sessions as live gauges: how full each context window is, what it has cost so far, and how that has changed over the session.

Version 0.1.0License MITPlatform Windows 10 & 11
Greedout showing three coding-agent sessions, the focused one promoted to a large speedometer at 68% of its context target with a running spend total.
Why it exists

The context readout the desktop app never shows you.

The in-terminal status line that normally prints your context and cost doesn't fire in every desktop app, so that readout is simply gone. Greedout reconstructs it from the outside, reading the transcripts on disk, and along the way gets to show several sessions at once instead of only the one in front of you.

Live gauges

Every session's context fill, in one glance.

The most recent sessions sit side by side, each sized against its model's target window, with the focused one promoted to a larger panel and a speedometer. You see which sessions are running hot before you hit a wall.

Spend & history

What it cost, and how it got there.

A running spend estimate per session, priced turn by turn by the model that actually ran it, plus a history graph of context and cumulative cost across the session. You can watch a session's trajectory, not just its current number.

Context Explorer

See exactly what's filling the window.

A treemap breakdown of what's actually occupying a session's context, drilling from category down to individual messages and tool blocks, with full-text search across the chat. When a session is full, you can find out why.

Greedout's Context Explorer: a heat-colored treemap of a project's sessions sized by transcript, each tile showing context, turns, and estimated cost, with a chat-text search box.
Browse & make it yours

Every session on disk, however you like it.

Zoom from harness to project to session across everything on disk, with tiles sized by transcript. Then make it yours: 68 themes, a font picker with roughly 50 bundled faces, Ctrl+wheel zoom, an optional CPU and memory bar, and a tray icon.

Greedout's theme gallery: dozens of theme swatches grouped into families, each previewing the gauge gradient and dots on its own background.
